I've been overweight for most of my life. In fact, the only time I really remember not being overweight was when I was about 7 years old. Over time I kept on putting on weight, and as a teenager my self esteem suffered. I went to college and allowed myself to gain the "Freshman 15" at which point I think I weighed about 210lbs. I studied abroad my junior year of college in France, and because we did so much walking, I lost 20lbs without really trying. I moved back to the states and the weight came back. I got married in 2009, for which I lost a little weight, but then as we adjusted to married life, I gained 30lbs! I finally hit a wall and said enough is enough, and that is where I am now. I'm starting my journey towards health and losing weight!
